Total Nutrition - From Weight Loss to Wellness
Comprehensive Nutrition and Wellness Workshops Starting in January of 2010



This January I will be offering an expanded curriculum of Total Nutrition classes. These courses will cover topics ranging far beyond simple nutrition. Through these workshops, our goal isn’t just to eat healthfully and lose weight, but to find a relationship with food that best serves our overall wellbeing and happiness. At the same time, we’ll explore how to exercise more efficiently, sleep more deeply, truly get to the roots of stress, feel better emotionally, improve mental focus, and a variety of other topics beyond nutrition that are essential to a healthy, rich life. Even if weight loss isn't an issue for you these Total Nutrition classes will prove highly beneficial.
Both live and "teleclass" versions of Total Nutrition are available this fall. These classes will focus more on weight loss than the classes I have taught in the past in honor of all of the New Year's resoultioners out there. The Total Nutrition live class will run Thursdays at 7pm from Jan 14th through April 8th at Your Rx for Health in Owings Mills MD. To register, simply call Your Rx for Health at 1-410-356-2169. This "Total Nutrition - From Weight Loss to Wellness" live class is part lecture, part interactive workshop. Each class includes plenty of time for questions, and lots of extra support materials like PDF tutorials, helpful articles, and MP3 downloads.
Total Nutrition Teleclasses
The Total Nutrition teleclass curriculum has expanded to include modules on exercise and mind/body health. The new curriculum has three one month nutrition modules, a 6 week mind-body health and practical spirituality module, and a 4 week "Make Your Genes Fit" exercise module. Each module can be taken independently, or the curriculum can be taken as a whole. Each module also includes audio downloads of each live lecture, PDF's to complement each lecture, and other support tools. The Total Nutrition - from Weight Loss to Wellness teleclass Module One begins Jan 12th at 8pm, and runs through April 6th. The Mind/Body health module begins Wednesday Jan 13th at 8pm, runing through Feb 24th. The Make Your Genes Fit Module begins Wednesday March 3rd. The intent of these workshops is not simply to provide information about diet, exercise, and lifestyle strategies to help you lose weight, feel better, or address a chronic complaint in the short term, but to develop a lifelong understanding of how to eat, move, and live that creates a permanent positive shift in your state of wellbeing and quality of life. These workshops are grounded in the premise that when we come to understand and work in harmony with our total nature as physical, mental, and emotional beings, we can take our bodies and our lives in any direction we choose.
